The Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury has recognized Rossville for adopting a balanced budget on time for the fiscal year that began July 1, 2026. Following a detailed review, the Comptroller’s office granted the town’s budget standard approval, reflecting Rossville’s commitment to responsible financial management.
Only about half of Tennessee’s 342 municipalities received this recognition this year! We’re especially grateful to Town Recorder Karen Pennington for her hard work and dedication to preparing the town’s budget each year.
We’re also proud to share this achievement with our Fayette County neighbors in Somerville, Piperton, and Oakland. It’s great to see our communities working toward responsible, accountable local government!
