Welcome to the Rossville Fire Department. We are a combination fire department made up of dedicated volunteer, part-time, and career personnel committed to protecting the lives, property, and quality of life of those who live, work, and visit the Town of Rossville.
Our members provide fire suppression, emergency medical response, rescue services, public education, and assistance during natural and man-made emergencies. Through ongoing training, strong community partnerships, and responsible use of public resources, we strive to provide dependable and professional emergency services whenever our community needs us.

Mission Statement
The mission of the Rossville Fire Department is to protect lives, property, and the environment by providing fast, professional, and compassionate emergency services to the citizens and guests of the Town of Rossville. We are committed to preparedness, prevention, public education, continuous improvement, and the health and safety of our firefighters.
Vision Statement
Our vision is to build a highly trained, well-equipped, and community-focused fire department recognized for professionalism, accountability, teamwork, and exceptional service. We will continue strengthening our organization while preparing for the changing needs and future growth of Rossville.
Department Goals
Provide Reliable Emergency Services – Respond quickly and professionally to fires, medical emergencies, rescues, hazardous conditions, severe weather events, and other calls for assistance.
Protect Our Firefighters – Make firefighter health, safety, wellness, training, and access to appropriate protective equipment top organizational priorities.
Recruit and Retain Quality Members – Build a strong combination department by recruiting volunteer, part-time, and career personnel while creating an environment where members feel supported, respected, and valued.
Promote Fire Prevention and Public Education – Reduce preventable emergencies through inspections, code compliance, community outreach, smoke-alarm education, and fire and life-safety programs.
Build Community Partnerships – Develop strong working relationships with residents, businesses, schools, neighboring fire departments, law enforcement, emergency medical services, and other community organizations.
