Mission
It is the mission of the Town of Rossville’s Administration to provide effective, fiscally responsible municipal services of the highest quality, consistent with the resources available to us. Our mission is to allocate such resources fairly to meet the needs of the community as a whole and the needs of the Town organization, in a manner which promotes a high standard of efficiency and quality of life.
Town Recorder
The Town Recorder is the keeper of the community archives and is responsible for the preservation and management of official records.
Primary Duties
The primary duties of the City Recorder includes:
- Keeping the proceedings of meetings, public hearings, and formal actions of the Mayor and Board of Commissioners
- Managing and preserving the official records and papers of the City
- Administering oaths and acting as a public notary
Human Resources
Human Resources is responsible for administering the City’s human resources management system, including labor relations, benefits administration, and staff development, and for providing personnel support services to all departments.
Town of Rossville, TN Budget
The Town of Rossville operates on an annual budget that represents a fiscal year beginning on July 1st and ending on June 30th. The annual budget report highlights the projected revenues and proposed expenditures for the City’s upcoming fiscal year. These items include projected revenues from all sources, and proposed department operating expenditures and capital expenditures and improvements. The City’s financial activities are audited annually by an independent audit firm and submitted to the State Comptroller for approval.

Beer Board
Mission
The Town of Rossville Beer Board is empowered to regulate the selling, storing for sale, distributing for sale, and manufacturing of beer within the town limits.
Regular Meetings
Meetings shall be held at the call of the chairman and at such other times as the board may determine. All meetings shall be announced and open to the public.

Members
The Town of Rossville Beer Board is composed of the Board of Mayor and Aldermen. The Mayor serves as the Beer Board Chairman.
