The Town of Rossville is currently accepting Police Officer applications.
Minimum Requirements:
· Applicants already certified as a police officer by the Tennessee Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission (P.O.S.T.) are preferred. Officers who are currently certified through another state may be considered for the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy’s three-week transitional class. Non-certified candidates will also be considered.
· You must be at least 21 years of age.
· You must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
· You must pass a background check, psychological exam, physical exam, and drug screen.
· This position requires working shift work, which includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
